Trusting in the lord with inspiration to sing, Deacon Charles Boone organizes a group on November 19th, 2000. “THE NEW HARPETTE SINGERS”
Because of love for singing the psalm, expressing the harp was very impressive.
The group has gone to minister in song to various churches, nursing homes, prisons, schools, weddings and many other social events In and around the cities of Cleveland, Chicago, New York, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Texas, Missouri and more.
The New Harpettes has performed with many of the gospel greats such as The Violinaires, The Jackson Southernaires, Pilgrim Jubilees, Doc Mckenzie, The Highway QC’s, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, Slim and The Supreme Angels, The Angelic Singers, Shirley Ceasar, The Spiritualaries, just to name a few.
The group has had six successful recordings. “Glory, Glory Hallelujah”, “Running for Jesus”, “Going all the Way”, Lord I wonder”, “Traveling Shoes”, and “The Best of the Harpettes”. Presently in the studio working on a new project and will release a live DVD later this year.
The ultimate goal of the group is to labor and be healed. Under the management of Deacon Charles Boone, (B&B Productions) nationwide promoter.The group is striving for great success in the Lord.
